Cooperation between “YFA” NGO and “Tavush” International Compatriotic Union NGO

“You For Armenia” Charitable Non-Governmental Organization and “Tavush” International Compatriotic Union NGO signed a memorandum of cooperation on September 27 with the aim of promoting the development and popularization of sports in the border village of Voskevan and its neighboring communities.

We highly appreciate the efforts of “Tavush” International Compatriotic Union NGO to establish a strength sports school in the village of Voskevan of Tavush region and to promote the development of sports in the region. “You For Armenia” organization, remaining faithful to its mission, expresses readiness to support the establishment of a sports school in Voskevan and organize efforts to provide them with sports equipment and support in other projects, when necessary.

Thanks to the cooperation, around 30 young people living in Vosekvan and its neighboring villages (Baghanis, Koti, Barekamavan, Jujevan, and Voskepar), will enroll in the sports school of the border community and will be provided with the necessary equipment to engage in strength sports.

We are thus starting a fundraising campaign to support Voskevan village which directly borders Azerbaijan. The amount needed for equipping the school with necessary sports items is 1mln AMD.
