Exclusive cooperation between “You For Armenia” NGO and “Ognenq” online platform

“You For Armenia” charitable non-governmental organization and “Ognenq” Armenian charitable online platform have launched an exclusive initiative, within the framework of which the basic school No.146 after Misak Metsarents in Yerevan will be equipped with modern laboratory equipment and models.
The models obtained as a result of the cooperation will henceforth be displayed in the classrooms of the basic school after M. Metsarents and will give an opportunity to the students who are particularly interested in natural sciences to acquire empirical skills in addition to theoretical knowledge. The members of “Ognenq” platform and “You For Armenia” organization, are full of hope that this initiative will be a stimulus for young people to be more interested in subjects related to science, as well as motivate them to directly participate in the changes that occur in the field of science. Some of the models provided to the school include; human skeleton, respiratory system, heart, liver, skull, and other models, animal skeleton models, as well as samples of artificial flowers and plants necessary for botanical research.
This unique cooperation, mobilizing the efforts and resources of Armenians around the world, aims to further strengthen the ties between Armenia and the Diaspora. For that particular reason, “Ognenq” platform, which was launched in 2021 with the aim of alleviating the socio-economic problems in Armenia through the organization of fundraising projects, has come up with the following initiative and partnered with “You For Armenia” NGO.
The executive director of “You For Armenia” NGO Andranik Martirosyan, speaking about their readiness for cooperation, states․
“Since the day of its re-establishment in 2021, the core mission of our organization has been to mobilize the knowledge, potential, as well as resources of all Armenians. Our initiatives are aimed at improving the social-economic situation in Armenia, especially after the post-war period. Therefore, we are willing to cooperate, provide financial support to all the organizations that come up with patriotic initiatives that particularly aim to develop and promote the role of education, culture and sports in our country. “
The founding members of “Ognenq” quote the words of the great French-Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour to showcase their main motivation behind providing assistance to Armenia.
“If every Armenian across the globe donated five dollars to Armenia every month, we would have an entirely different Armenia.”
Reminder that thanks to “Ognenq”, all initiatives, programs, and ideas aimed at the development and welfare of Armenia can be nominated on the online platform in order to help organizations allocate financial support.
